At its centre is an established, certified EN1143-1 graded bank vault, protected by electronic time locks and multiple layers of modern security technology.
Controlled access incorporates biometric fingerprint scanning and facial-recognition technology to help ensure that only authorised individuals can enter secure areas.
The facility is also protected by high-quality digital CCTV, continuous external monitoring and a system linked to a 24-hour police response. These measures work together to provide protection both during and outside normal opening hours.
Customers can access their boxes within private viewing rooms located inside the secure area, allowing valuables to be handled confidentially and away from public view.

The Bank Safety Deposit Centre is housed in the former Barclays Bank building on Walsall Road, close to junction 7 of the M6. Visits are strictly by appointment.
