With over 20 years’ experience in the banking industry and over 12 years’ experience in securely handling and managing safety deposit boxes our family run business prides itself on providing outstanding service at the most advanced safety deposit facility in the Midlands. With our knowledge of security and from the advice given by West Midlands Police during our Secure by design assessment we have covered every possible scenario particularly our ‘out of hours’ operating procedures and are satisfied that they are robust and secure.


Housed in what was the Barclays Bank in Great Barr, Birmingham, we have installed state of the art security technology to compliment the high grade bank security that was already In situ.

Working with Gunnebo and Chubb Safes we have the most advanced safety deposit lockers available with the most complex security measures.

We offer two isolated viewing rooms for your privacy and a separate waiting/ consultation room within our secure area therefore allowing our members peace of mind as soon as they enter The Bank SDC.


In addition to the 24 hour monitored CCTV with West Midlands Police response our alarm systems are the most sophisticated available. Each member will have to pass our stringent security protocols where personal information shall be collated before membership approval by our board of directors. All personal information including identification, finger prints, passwords and access codes shall be stored on our secure servers and governed under the data protection act. We can then issue encrypted access cards to provide our clients with complete peace of mind. As our customers you are not restricted to the number of times you access your safety deposit box nor are there any extra charges, these are all inclusive within your membership. The vault door has an electronic time lock therefore access is strictly only available during our opening hours and a prior appointment made.

What can I store

Whatever you feel is valuable to you, they are often used to store items such as Cash, Jewellery, Collectables, Passports, Deeds and Wills. Please see our terms and conditions in the Branch.

Opening times

We are open from 10am to 5pm, Monday to Friday and 10am to 4pm on Saturday.
